Encompass, the number one platform for automating corporate KYC due diligence, makes two senior hires to promote growth.
Encompass robotically automates information and news discovery for Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements for onboarding, event-driven refresh and remediation. Organisations using the platform can reduce time to decision from weeks to 30 minutes. The solution ticks the three main buying triggers for software by increasing revenue as customer conversion is distinctly improved, improving operational efficiency by automating most of the manual process and strengthening the risk and compliance elements of the bank.
Founded in Sydney in 2011, the company is headquartered in the UK with major operations in London and Scotland; there are additional offices in the US, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Australia. Encompass have recently completed a significant Series B capital raise of £25M, led by Perennial Partners and supported by Serendipity Capital, Seven Seat Capital and Microequities Asset Management. Encompass’ capital raise will be employed to accelerate its global growth, notably in Amsterdam and New York, and advance the company’s product innovation and development in Sydney, Belgrade and Glasgow.
Bob Delaney joins as Head of Sales, UK and Ireland, to lead and strengthen Encompass’ largest sales team. Bob has recently worked as Head of Sales, Canada, and Managing Director of Client Lifecycle Management at Thomson Reuters and Pegasystems respectively, before moving into the Head of Global Sales role at Suited. Most recently, Bob worked as a Strategic Advisor to DotAlign, advising on Go-To-Market Strategy, business development, fundraising and hiring.
Phillip Sertel joins Encompass as Head of Sales, Continental Europe, bringing three decades of experience in enterprise software sales for market leading companies. While spearheading market entries in Germany, Italy, Turkey, Russia, the Middle East and many Central and Eastern European countries, Phillip spent 15 years at FICO before leaving his role as Vice President and Managing Director of Continental Europe to join Oracle as Head of HCM Sales. After leaving Oracle, Phillip built his own business with his wife in Croatia.
