The Company’s ground-breaking spatial computing platform turns buildings into data, making every space more valuable and accessible. Millions of buildings in more than 150 countries have been transformed into immersive Matterport digital twins to improve all parts of the building lifecycle. Having debuted their app in 2020, Matterport’s customer base has grown from 13,000 to more than 330,000 in one year; 13 percent of Fortune 1,000 companies have now signed up to Matterport. In July last year, Matterport went public, announcing the completion of their business combination with Gore Holdings. As a result of the merger, Matterport has received $605 million to continue democratizing 3D capture and expand their value proposition to billions of global customers.
Rob Hines joins the company as Managing Director, Americas, to lead strategic growth initiatives and expand Matterport’s global reach. Most recently, Rob held the role of CRO at Block.one, co-writing their business plan, launching their Global Enterprise Business Unit and introducing Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) to market. Prior to this, he worked as Area Vice President, Service Cloud East at Oracle.
Peter O’Sullivan also joins Matterport as Head of Enterprise Sales. He brings over 20 years of sales leadership experience in top Silicon Valley technology companies, including Google and Facebook, having most recently worked as Global Category Director, Technology, for Meta. Peter joins Matterport to support fast growing demand for their revolutionary products in their larger customer base, develop an Enterprise Account Plan for strategic accounts in the US and drive the execution of the plan to success.
