Tony Ehrens joins Eigen Technologies as CRO

Renaissance is delighted to announce the appointment of Tony Ehrens as CRO, based in their New York offices.

Eigen Technology have appointed Tony to take responsibility for their commercial teams on a global basis. Tony’s tenure starts at an excellent time as Eigen has just recorded its best ever sales quarter and the entire organisation has a high degree of momentum heading into 2021.  Tony is a first-class commercial leader with extensive sales experience at AI and SaaS companies.  Throughout his career in sales leadership roles, Tony has consistency delivered rapid expansion and revenue growth with global teams.  He joins Eigen from robotic automation process business Kryon Systems, where he was General Manager and VP Sales, Americas.  Before that he was SVP Global Sales for smart process automation SaaS platform WorkFusion and SVP Sales at Sitrion.

Founded in 2014, Eigen Technologies has produced an AI driven platform that automates the extraction and classification of information from documents.  Whilst there are several competitors addressing this market, Eigen’s key differentiator is that once installed the machine learning engine can be enhanced at the user level rather than requiring highly expensive Consultants and Engineers to maximise its capabilities. This of course leads to a significant reduction in cost and therefore a far more rapid ROI for the end user.

In November 2019 Eigen Technologies closed its Series B funding of $37M with an exceptional syndicate that included Goldman Sachs, Temasek Holdings, Lakestar and Dawn Capital.

Commenting on the assignment Dr. Lewis Z. Liu, Co-Founder & CEO, Eigen Technologies stated, “Sebastian and team not only took the time to understand our business and growth plans but also gave insightful advice on how we should think about our executive team as a whole.  They went above and beyond during these unprecedented times and delivered both our CFO and CRO across our London and New York offices respectively.  I would highly recommend Renaissance to any founder or CEO who is looking to scale up their leadership team.”
