Renaissance is delighted to announce the appointment of Annie Wilson as Senior Director of Partnerships at Omio.
Multimodal travel platform Omio (formerly GoEuro) is pursuing a vision of bringing global transport into a single distribution system and creating end to end magical consumer journeys. Omio offers the largest source of inventory with 1,000+ suppliers operating in 35 countries in Europe and North America and it attracts 600M+ users on a yearly basis while continuing to launch new geographies, new verticals and new products. Bucking the trend in the travel sector, Omio recently announced a $100M late stage funding round, bringing the total to around $400M since being founded back in 2013. Omio is supported by storied investors such as Atomico, Battery Ventures, Goldman Sachs, Kleiner Perkins, Silver Lake and more.
Working closely with the Founder & CEO Naren Shaam, Annie’s remit is to build, shape and implement a global partner strategy. She will be focusing specifically on large scale growth partnerships (via white labelling/portal implementation); product partnerships that enhance the user experience and larger global and strategic partnerships that create strategic value on a global scale.
Annie joins Omio after a successful 12-year career at Kayak. She joined Kayak in 2007 as the first employee outside of North America and built the EMEA commercial organisation across UK, France, Germany and Italy before being asked to take general management responsibility for the UK. In 2017, Annie took responsibility for the newly centralised EMEA Partnerships organisation with a team across London, Berlin and Copenhagen.
