InformedK12, an easy-to-use workflow automation solution that helps school district administrators manage forms, workflow and approvals, have appointed Kurt Walker as Vice President of Sales & Partnerships.
Founded in 2012 by Sarah Chou and Qjan Wang, Informed K12 is building a workflow platform that is a transformational upgrade for school districts, providing an opportunity for districts to escape the burden of day-to-day paperwork and focus on supporting their staff and serving their students and families. Informed K12’s platform transforms paperwork from a daily stumbling block to a strategic tool, powering the future of school district operations by helping district administrators drive the systemic change needed to improve productivity, accountability and equity.
Kurt Walker joins Informed K12 as Vice President of Sales, Partnerships & GTM to develop, scale and lead revenue into the next stage of growth. Kurt joins from Lucid, where he ran their Global Higher Educations Sales for the US. Prior to this he was the Head of Partnerships & Business Development for OpenClassrooms and ran the growth and revenue for Eclipse Tech, driving revenue and growth.
Headquartered in San Francisco, Informed K12 received their Series A venture funding (~$10m) from StartX, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Jan Leeman. Their mission is to build a company to solve some of the most complex administrative issues facing schools and districts today, with a vision based on principles of equity, equality & inclusion.
