Founded in 2007 in Kingston upon Thames, Wifinity is a Gigabit Internet Service Provider, with products and services connecting over 6 million people a year across a wide range of sectors, including holiday parks, defence, retail and residential buildings where Wifinity is the leading provider for recreational WiFi . Wifinity is funded by Literacy Capital (led by ex-Capita CEO Paul Pindar), Martin Bolland (co-founder of private equity investor Alchemy) and Elcot Capital.
Wifinity has a strong track record of year-on-year growth and required a Non Exec Chairman to help guide the organisation through the next stages of rapid growth following recent investor backing. Christian Nellemann has been appointed with his direct experience as being the founder of XLN, a small business services provider of phone lines, broadband, mobile and energy - which he has taken through multiple financial events and created substantial enterprise value and shareholder returns.
