Ada makes two exciting executive hires

TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA

Ada, the automated customer experience company that provide chat bots used in customer support, makes two exciting executive hires.

Founded in Toronto in 2016, Ada has developed an AI-powered software platform to support customer service teams in large businesses. Ada’s chatbot allows customer support teams to provide automated responses to inbound customer requests and questions, to allow customers to receive answers to their own questions more quickly than human-staffed customer support.

In May last year, Ada raised $130 million USD in Series C financing to make them a Canadian unicorn. The funding news came just over a year after Ada raised a $63.7 million CAD Series B round. Ada has been using the fresh capital to fuel its global expansion efforts, grow its team to over 500 people, and invest in research and development.

As such, Ada have made two impressive senior hires, with Regina Soller-Gould joining as Vice President, Revenue Marketing, and Jim Monroe joining the firm as Vice President, Customer Experience.

Regina brings with her more than 20 years of experience in integrated campaign planning, development and execution, having spent 8 years at Pure Storage and being promoted to Senior Director, Americas Marketing. Most recently, Regina held the role of Global Vice President Campaigns and Field Marketing at San Francisco-based firm Amplitude, where she launched Enterprise Marketing and ABM strategy. She will leverage this experience to take Ada’s Revenue and Field Marketing organization through its next phase of growth and evangelize a transformative vision for the company.

Jim also brings a wealth of knowledge to Ada, with 20 years’ experience leading companies in technology-enabled global revenue expansion, services and business consulting. Jim most recently worked as Global Vice President of Customer Experience at AppDynamics, Cisco Systems Inc, where he led a 500-person global team in all Geos (Americas, APJC, EMEAR), including P&L ownership of Education, Services and Support and Customer Success renewal book of business. Jim joins Ada as Vice President, Customer Experience, to act as a true strategic advisor to Ada’s customers and its

Executive team and drive and scale the company’s ability to create world-class customer experiences.
