When I was 11 years old I started to wander around the world through the lands of “Middle Earth” and London. Back then, my thoughts were completely focused on how to speak a different language and live a different life, which in my humble opinion, is not rare for an underprivileged child.

One day, after having a series of recurring dreams about a particular street in London,  I decided to speak English and move out of Brazil, the question was, how would I do that? Movies and music, of course!

At 16 I got my first real job and with “great power came great responsibilities“! I remained, however,  focused on the GREATEST goal: learn English. Every morning I would go to work with a pack of DVDs in my hands, look at my director and say: Don’t laugh, I am practicing my English skills so that one day I am able to work abroad, he then would look at me with a smile like, “if you say so”.

Now, as I am approaching my 30s, I live in Silicon Valley, I am proud to say that I have lived and worked in 4 different countries: Sao Paulo (Brazil), Dubai (UAE), London (UK) and California, (USA) and that I have collected a couple of big names such as CommScope, Cushman & Wakefield, UBS Investment Bank, IBM, and Emirates. That said, I am a huge believer that we can go to wherever our dreams lead us.

There is just so much to learn about this big world, so many people to get connected to, so much to do and I honestly could not have found a better place to be but a part of Renaissance Leadership!
